ISIC Basic Intervention Course 2022: 1st Offline Workshop Held at Integrated Cardiac Services Building Sanglah Hospital Denpasar

Located in the meeting room on the 4th floor of the Integrated Cardiac Services at Sanglah Central General Hospital, on 4-5 June 2022, basic intervention training for cardiologists was carried out by ISIC in collaboration with the invasive section of KSM Cardiology and Vascular Hospital Sanglah Bali. This activity was attended by 7 instructors from various training centers in Indonesia. The instructors who attended included A Fauzi Yahya., MD FIHA, Nahar Taufiq., MD FIHA, I Made Junior Rina Artha., MD FIHA, Amir Aziz Alkatiri., MD FIHA, Sodiqur Rifqi., MD FIHA, Suko Adiarto., MD FIHA, Yudi Her Oktaviano., MD FIHA, and Bagus Ari Pradnyana., MD FIHA. All of the instructors were present to provide materials and hands-on practice to the participants.

There were 36 cardiologists who participated in this activity and came from all over Indonesia. The training is divided into 2 sessions, the first day is a lecture session and the second day is hands-on practice for all participants as well as an introduction to the rooms and facilities in the cath lab in the hospital. Activities are carried out smoothly and completely offline but with strict Health protocols.

Hopefully in the future similar activities will continue to be held at Sanglah Hospital in meeting the literacy and skill needs of each doctor.
