Vision, Mission, Goals, and Strategies
The vision, mission, goals and strategies (VMTS) of the Cardiology and Vascular Specialist PS involve all stakeholders, both internal and external. The VMTS is also aligned with the VMTS of universities and faculties. The VMTS are as follows:
a. Vision
The vision of the Cardiology and Vascular Specialist Study Program is: “Producing Cardiologist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University who Excellent, Independent, and Cultured and Has Special Advantages in the Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation Sector” which has Competitiveness at the National, Regional Levels and Global in 2025”
b. Mission
The mission of the Cardiology and Vascular Specialist Study Program is: “To Organize Cardiology Science Education with Excellence in Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation which is Described in the Form of Separate Time Allocations as Local and National Excellence Programs”
c. Goals
Based on the mission of the Cardiology and Vascular Specialist Study Program, FK Unud, the strategic objectives of development in 5 years are formulated as follows:
1. Organizing quality education for Cardiac and Blood Vessel doctors and producing graduates who have high morals/ethics/morals and integrity in accordance with the demands of the local, national and international community, with special advantages in the field of cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation as a local flagship program.
2. Increase the capacity of study programs in providing access to education services to the community.
3. Develop a healthy study program through optimizing governance in accordance with BLU principles.
4. Develop cooperation in various fields to improve the quality of the Tri Dharma of higher education.
5. Produce quality, relevant and competitive research in accordance with science and technology developments, produce national, international scientific publications and patents for the benefit of the community.
d. Strategies
Based on these strategic objectives, the Cardiology and Vascular Specialist Study Program, FK Unud, formulated a 5-year strategy as follows:
1. The realization of a quality, relevant, and competitive learning process nationally and internationally across disciplines.
2. The realization of an international standard study program (internationalization).
3. The realization of the entrepreneurial spirit and innovation of students and graduates.
4. Availability of adequate, quality educational infrastructure and facilities for those with special needs that are evenly distributed in all work units to support the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education that is of high quality and internationally competitive.
5. The realization of increasing the capacity of study programs.
6. The realization of a specialist doctor study program that is independent, qualified, and attractive.
7. The realization of organizational and leadership capabilities of study programs in line with the principles of good higher education governance in accordance with the principles of quality assurance and BLU.
8. The establishment of cooperation in the fields of education, research and community service that improves the quality of learning, the quality of research output and reputation as well as the contribution of study programs in increasing the degree of public health
9. Realization of innovative research and publications based on local wisdom that has a strong impact on the development of science and technology for the benefit of the nation, state and humanity.
