Collaboration
The Cardiology and Blood Vessel Specialist Study Program has 5 collaboration agreements involving the Study Program in the last three years which were carried out with various domestic institutions. Some local and national institutions currently in a cooperative agreement with the Study Program are: Sanglah Hospital, Udayana University Hospital, Mangusada Badung Hospital, Singaraja Hospital, and Harapan Kita National Heart Centre Hospital. Cooperation is still dominated by activities for providing educational facilities (hospitals) for resident students. Some of the activities that have been carried out include guest lectures, publications, and the provision of training and workshops. For international collaboration activity, there are several activities that have been done. One of them is a basic research collaboration and research fellowship with the Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences of Okayama University. This activity involved one of the lecturer staff as exchange staff in the short course program at Okayama University. One of the outcomes of other international cooperation is the publication of the results of collaboration with foreign parties, namely research in the field of Rheumatic Heart Disease. This research involved lecturers from the Study Program, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, University of Connecticut School of Medicine, and Yale School of Medicine. All cooperative activities have been running in line with the University Tri Dharma and in line with the vision of becoming a study program that has competitiveness at the national, regional, and global levels.
